The horses were really excited to have some yummy apples. It took a minute to figure out how to get the apple to stay in the horse's mouth without getting horse slobber and chewed apple all over your hand. Russell couldn't figure out why the horse kept dropping the apple.
Dani had a good system going with "Ranger Danger" until he spit out one of the apples and she managed to catch it. You can tell from the picture, neither one of them was very happy about it!
Here are some pictures of us riding.
Zack started with a guide so Ranger could get used to him. Then Brian and Russell took a turn. Russell was sooooo excited! He even had to wear his "cowboy hat". (Yes, I know it looks more like a safari hat, but who am I to argue with a 3 year old cowboy?)
I snapped a picture of Zack and Uncle Chris taking a walk together. "Stetson" was acting up a little bit while Chris was riding him. Brian decided to take over and see if he could show Stetson who was Boss. (Yeah, Stetson had other plans.)
Yay! I even made it up on the horse. Dani thought it was hilarious to watch me try to get on the horse. When I made it in the saddle, I made a mental note- Horse, tall - Lisa, short - Bad combination. Next time I'll be sure to choose the shortest horse! =)
Russell found a toy four wheeler to play on when it wasn't his turn to ride. Dani and Russell couldn't get enough. They rode until it was pretty dark. We had so much fun!
As we went to leave, we couldn't help but notice this gorgeous sunset. I had to take pictures. Sunsets are magical for me, so this was the perfect ending to a wonderful evening.

Looks like you guys had fun! Kids and horses are always a good combination. I wasn't feeling good on Monday, so we just were lame and played games! I'll make up for it next week with dinner in a pumkin!
Hi, I love these pics, Looks like that was a great time. Love your blog.
